@Aidan - That sounds fantastic! Please do let me know about your trip once it's done and your blog once it's up and I'll plug it here. If time permits, maybe a Skype interview could be done as well. Have a great trip and good luck on your blog!

Hi Daniel,

Just came across your site.
I've been thinking about starting my own blog combining SF and travel (places to visit for SF fans). Wanted to see what else was around.

I love travelling and have been to more than 50 countries.
Next month I'm heading off on a 3-month vacation through Eastern Europe. Will visit another 15 or so new countries.

Won't be creating my own blog until after the vacation. At the moment I'm enjoying looking through your site.

Have fun,
Aidan.

I have been waiting for somebody to post about this on the network. I'm actually going to be at the official unveiling on July 11th. It should be awesome. There are going to be thousands of people there. Should be fun as long as Deathscythe doesn't show up, that guy seriously knows how to ruin a party... what a showoff.

Absoultely! There are two pretty big cons (Genghis used to be the biggest in the country in February) and two RPG community groups that actively work to make gaming and GMing better in Denver. I've been part of both those organizations and active in the cons, so I'm not unbiased by any means. But over the years I've seen many friends return to Denver to game after they've moved away and even some new people that chose to live in Denver because they heard all about the great gaming scene (and presumably there were job opportunities as well).
